Charming Shoppes operates more than 2,200 stores in 48 states. Each store—as well as our corporate and brand headquarters and distribution centers—is part of our company’s close-knit community. Because we believe in sharing the fruits of our success, we also contribute to the development of the communities where our associates and their families live and work.

We believe success comes with responsibility. When we open a store, we expect it to be a part of the community for many years to come, which means finding ways for our associates and company to get involved and to give back. Through our Keeping Kids Warm program, in conjunction with our vendors and suppliers, we have donated nearly 115,000 new coats to children at schools throughout the country.

Charming Shoppes continues to be an advocate for women, education, children’s health care and social issues such as homelessness and poverty. We applaud the efforts of community members and leaders. In 2003, through our first Voices recognition program we celebrated the contributions of 100 women who made a difference in their communities.
