Corporate Operations oversees the operational needs of the company. All levels of management as well as analyst and clerical positions comprise this division, with a variety of fields and skills represented. Support departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Store Operations, Maintenance and Real Estate are among those included in Corporate Operations. Finance
Opportunities in Finance include positions in Credit, General Finance, Corporate Budgeting, Internal Audit, Payroll and Rent/Tax Compliance. In our Bensalem, Pennsylvania, corporate offices, we have a state-of-the art Business Service Center that provides financial services to the entire Charming Shoppes company.

Technology Services
Technology Services is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the company’s management information systems. We are an industry leader in the development of systems that gather and analyze data on all aspects of operations. The computer programs and reports developed by Technology Services provide our management teams with the support and information they need to plan ongoing business activities. Technology Services also develops computer software systems for our offices and stores, and helps associates resolve computer and telecommunications issues as well as other technological problems. Departments include Store Systems, Applications, Technology Management, Operations and Telecommunications.

Logistics and Distribution
The corporate offices in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, house our Logistics departments, which include Domestic Transportation, International Transportation, General Management, Distribution Services, Vendor Compliance and Industrial Engineering.

Our supply-chain team works with our brands’ merchandising and allocation teams to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely flow of product from point of manufacture to our stores. Our two distribution centers, in Greencastle, Indiana, and White Marsh, Maryland, receive, process and ship merchandise to our stores. State-of-the-art distribution systems guarantee that our stores are stocked with current styles. Our distribution centers offer positions in supervision and management, as well as in material handling and receiving.

Customer Service
Our Customer Service department is located in Tucson, Arizona. This group takes telephone orders and services customer questions and comments for all of our direct-to-consumer businesses.

Marketing
Our corporate offices and the headquarters of all three brands offer opportunities in Marketing. The corporate marketing staff works extensively on database marketing through a sophisticated system that provides information on customer preferences and shopping patterns for each brand. At our brands' headquarters, marketing teams are responsible for working with the merchandising and store operations staff to create marketing plans and strategies to drive business.

Credit
We have Credit departments at our corporate headquarters in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and at Spirit of America National Bank in Milford, Ohio. Positions in this area are geared towards customer service and the financial and regulatory requirements of credit card ownership and use. The Bensalem team oversees the credit operations, including the management of third-party relationships, and works with our store operations to generate customer excitement about the benefits of owning one or more of our credit cards. Spirit of America National Bank , is a credit and collections call center, which services our store operations to open new accounts, and our cardholders in the areas of customer service, collections and other credit programs.

Real Estate, Store Design and Construction
Real Estate is responsible for finding, negotiating for and securing appropriate sites for our store locations. Positions in Real Estate are located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, as well as across the country. Store Design and Construction, located in Bensalem, are responsible for the interior of our stores. Once the design team finishes creating the overall look for each new or remodeled store, the Construction Project Management group, in partnership with general contractors, works to get the store completed within the allocated budget and ready to open for business on time.
